Lululemon

Lululemon is hosting a Kundali Yoga class and wellbeing auction this Saturday. Here’s everything you need to know!

In support of UK charity, Ourmala, Lululemon will be using Yoga to support victims of trauma by providing a one-hour yoga class which will be taken by internationally renouned Yoga teacher, Gloria Latham.

Gloria, who usually resides in Greece, will offer a rare chance to practice with her as she takes you through the motions of Kundali Yoga, a practice incorporating dynamic breathing techniques, movement and the chanting of mantras, such as Sat Nam, meaning “truth is my identity”. Gloria is also a Lululemon Ambassador.

The event will also introduce yoga-goers to the incredible work of UK Charity, Ourmala, whom the event will be raising funds for. All proceeds of the price of your ticket will go straight back into the incredible work at Ourmala. The charity helps refugees and asylum-seekers rebuild their lives and integrate. Most are recovering from atrocities such as torture, sexual violence in conflict and human trafficking, registered with the UK Home Office.

Ourmala is a socially conscious non-profit organisation, that uses yoga to change the lives of refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. As lululemon’s national Here to Be partner, all funds raised at this event will support Ourmala’s work offering yoga, meditation classes and community support.

Ourmala founder Emily Brett will be joined by lululemon global ambassador, Gloria Latham to host a morning yoga and meditation practice at London’s Migration Museum. A screening of a short film will follow to highlight the valuable work Ourmala does and the impact it has on vulnerable lives.

After the screening, guests can also enjoy lululemon’s meditation bus as well as a silent auction with the opportunity to bid on some amazing packages from some of London’s most prestigious fitness studios including Triyoga, Core Collective, Xtend Barre, F45, Yogahaven and Digme.
