NEW! MENTAL MOVEMENT TO LAUNCH COACHING & CONSULTING SERVICE 2019
Mental health problems in the workplace cost the UK economy over £34.9bn last year, according to a study undertaken by the Centre for Mental Health.
The Mental Movement Coaching & Consultancy service will assist businesses to build a culture of well-being and empathic understanding in a bid to eradicate the stigma of mental health problems at work.
During our venture with our multi-award winning publication, Mental Movement Magazine, we uncovered two key pain points. The first, a significant rise in the number of people struggling with their mental health in the workplace who were too afraid to speak with their management or boss about their struggles, and secondly, an influx of young people left unsupported by the NHS and unable to obtain therapy.
In response to the growing public health concern of poor mental health experienced by people in the United Kingdom today, our Coaching and Consulting service will work with UK businesses to improve wellbeing in the workplace whilst simultaneously supporting a free/low-cost counselling facility to help support the young people who contact us for help on a daily basis.
What makes our service different?
All of our coaches, counsellors and psychotherapists will have an intrinsic understanding of what it means to hit ‘rock bottom’. Lived experience is central to our work and enables us to navigate with great empathy, allowing those we work with to feel heard, supported and above all, empowered.
Our coaching program will facilitate a safe and supportive environment that allows individuals to:
improve self-confidence and self-acceptance
garner a stronger sense of identity and purpose
increase hope and better wellness
improve work/life balance
encourage individual goal-setting for personal development
Coaches will also be available to clients via Skype, email, telephone and WhatsApp.
